Vice-Admiral John Lewis Pearson, C.M.G., Royal Navy, Retired (8 June, 1878 – ) was an officer of the Royal Navy during the First World War.
Life & Career
Pearson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 October, 1900.[1]
Pearson was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1912.[2]
Pearson was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1917.[3]
Pearson was appointed in command of the battleship H.M.S. Glory in January, 1918.
Post-War
He wa appointed in command of King George V in February 1923.
Pearson was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 21 May, 1929.[4]
Pearson was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 31 March, 1931.[5]
Pearson was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on the Retired List on 11 February, 1934.[6]
