Lieutenant-Commander Thomas Frederick Taylor, D.S.C. (14 August, 1897 – ) served in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve before joining the Royal Navy.

Born in Greenhithe, Kent, Taylor would serve in the scout cruiser Patrol toward the end of the Great War.^[1]

Taylor was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 December, 1934.

Taylor was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 December, 1942.
