Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. (retired) James Francis Symons, R.D., R.N.R. (29 November, 1880 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Life & Career
Symons was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 2 August, 1915. He suffered adverse reports for collisions in 1916 and 1918.[1]
Symons was placed on the Retired List due to non-sea service in June, 1921 and promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 2 August, 1923.[2]
World War II
He served as a Consular Shipping Adviser in Norfolk, Virginia.[3]
