Captain Philip Francklin, M.V.O., Royal Navy (18 May, 1874 – 1 November, 1914) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Francklin was the fourth son of Mr. and the Honourable Mrs. Francklin of Conniston, Notts.[1] He was promoted to the rank of Captain on 22 June, 1911.[2]
He was killed in command of H.M.S. Good Hope at the Battle of Coronel on 1 November, 1914.
