H.M.S. Mackay (named H.M.S. Claverhouse until 31 December, 1918) was one of eight flotilla leaders of the Scott class. She was not completed in time to see action in the Great War.

Service

Re-commissioned at Chatham on 4 December, 1923. By March 1925, she was with the Ninth Destroyer Flotilla.[7]

Re-commissioned at Rosyth as leader of the Fifth Destroyer Flotilla with the Atlantic Fleet on 1 June, 1927.[8]

Reduced to Reserve at Chatham on 31 October, 1928.[9]

Re-commissioned at Devonport on 11 June, 1929.[10]
