Commander (retired) Edward Herbert Donovan, (8 October, 1874 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of Lieutenant General Donovan.

Donovan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1896.

Donovan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 October, 1904.

Placed on the Retired List as unfit on 6 May 1912.

Donovan was promoted to the rank of Commander on 8 October, 1914.
