H.M.S. Gainsborough was one of one hundred and fourteen Hunt Class minesweepers completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Paid off 25 October 1919.[7]
In January, 1921, she was at Southampton, one of twenty-eight paid off minesweepers there.[8]
