Jump to navigationJump to searchCaptain (retired) Henry Luxmoore Hitchins, R.N. (23 January, 1885 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Hitchins ranked fiftieth among 62 successful candidates in examinations for entry to the Britannia intake term of September 1899, with 2172 marks.[1]
He was also awarded the Goodenough Medal for 1905[?] for being the Sub-Lieutenant who achieved the highest gunnery examination while also achieving a first-class certificate in seamanship.
