Clemson Class Destroyer (1918)
From The Dreadnought Project
Jump to navigationJump to search
The Clemson class destroyers were ordered in massive numbers for the U.S. Navy to meet wartime needs for antisubmarine escorts, but deliveries did not commence before the end of the war. They differed from the previous Wickes class by having their range extended 35%, thanks to greater oil bunkerage on an increased displacement.
This page is a placeholder for now with just the lead ship defined in the data block. I will add the other ships eventually so that FredBot can create the many ship stub pages. — TONY LOVELL, Editor.
