Vice-Admiral (retired) Henry Cecil Bovell, C.B., C.B.E., D.S.O., R.N. (4 January, 1893 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Bovell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 September, 1914.[1]
Bovell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 September, 1922.[2]
Bovell was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1928.[3]
Bovell was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1934.[4]
Bovell was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 8 January, 1944.[5]
Bovell was placed on the Retired List on 14 July, 1947 and promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 13 July, 1948.[6]
