H.M.S. Wallace was one of five Shakespeare class flotilla leaders.
Service
Wallace was re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 11 December, 1920.[5]
She was completed to full crew on 12 November, 1924 and proceeded to lead the First Destroyer Flotilla as part of the Atlantic Fleet.[6]
Re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 4 September, 1928 for work with the Fifth Destroyer Flotilla in the Atlantic Fleet.[7]
She was re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 11 November, 1930 for continued work with the Fifth Destroyer Flotilla in the Atlantic Fleet.[8]
Equipment
In 1919, she was selected to receive one of the first five Renouf Torpedo Tactical Instrument Type As.[9]
