Lieutenant-Commander David Tod, (10 June, 1902 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Tod was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1924. He served in K 22 and other ships before 1929, and commanded H 43 in 1930-31 as part of the Sixth Submarine Flotilla operating out of Portland.
Tod was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 October, 1932.[Inference]
His last sea-going service was in the heavy cruiser Cornwall and battleship Malaya. Tod was placed on the Retired List in February, 1939 after 23 years in the service.[1]
