Captain (retired) Aubrey Basil Fanshawe, (13 November, 1893 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Fanshawe was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 May, 1916.
Appointed first and gunnery officer of Bruce on 13 October 1919.
Fanshawe was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 May, 1924.
Fanshawe was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1929.
Lent to New Zealand Government for three years from 4 August, 1938.
Fanshawe was placed on the Retired List on account of age with the rank of Captain on 13 November, 1943.
