Captain (retired) Stanley Edward Norfolk, (14 April, 1898 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of Commander S. B. Norfolk, R.N..[1]
Norfolk was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1918.[2]
In June 1921, it appears that he took a course as a submarine gunnery officer, which I've never heard of before.[3]
Norfolk was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 October, 1926.[4]
Norfolk was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1931.[5]
World War II
Norfolk was promoted to the rank of Captain on 15 June, 1948.[6]
