Admiral William Firth Slayter (22 January, 1867 — 15 May, 1936) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

He was appointed to command the armoured cruiser Eclipse on 24 March, 1908.[1]

He attended the Royal Navy War College from 9 September, 1912, but left on 20 December without completing the course.

He was appointed to command the armoured cruiser Neptune on 15 October, 1917.[2]

He was promoted to Rear Admiral (retired) on 1 January, 1919..

He was promoted to Vice Admiral (retired) on 31 July, 1924.

He was promoted to Admiral while retired on 22 February, 1928.
