Admiral Henry William Grant, C.B., Royal Navy, Retired (24 January, 1870 – 15 April, 1949) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
He was promoted to the rank of Commander dated 31 December, 1902.[1]
He was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1907.[2]
He was appointed in command of the battleship Albemarle on 25 August, 1908.[3]
Grant was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral dated 22 February, 1919, vice Blackett.[4]
He was advanced to the rank of Vice-Admiral on the Retired List on 1 January, 1925,[5] and to Admiral on 27 February, 1929.[6]
