Francis Adams Beasley
Captain Francis Adams Beasley, M.V.O. (29 August, 1881 – 24 June, 1935) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Early Life & Career
The son of Robert St. John Beasley, Esq. was born in Queenstown.
Beasley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 September, 1903.[1]
Beasley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 September, 1911.[2]
Beasley was appointed to Queen Elizabeth in November, 1914 and served in her as acting Commander from October 1918.
Beasley was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1915.[3]
Appointed to Hercules in January 1917.
In April 1918, Beasley was the President of the "Abadaba [N word] Minstrel Troupe" which performed aboard H.M.S. Hercules.[4]
Beasley was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1921.[5]
He was retired at his own request dated 10 July, 1922.[6]
