Captain Frank Oswald Lewis, C.B.E., R.N. (30 November, 1873 – ) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Early Life & Career

Lewis was promoted to Lieutenant on 30 June, 1895.

Lewis was promoted to Commander on 31 December, 1905.

Lewis was promoted to Captain on 30 June, 1913.

Great War

In September 1916, Lewis was made captain of the armoured cruiser King Alfred, remaining with her until June 1917.

He was appointed in command of Bacchante in August, 1917.[1]

Post-War

Lewis was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 16 September, 1920.
