Admiral John Denison, D.S.O., Royal Navy (25 May, 1853 – 9 March, 1939) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Early Life & Career
Denison was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 16 April, 1878.[1]
Denison was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1891.[2]
Denison was promoted to the rank of Captain on 13 May, 1896.[3]
He was appointed in command of the battleship Montagu on 28 July, 1903.[4]
Flag Rank
Denison was promoted to the rank of Admiral on 7 December, 1913, and placed on the Retired List on 8 December.[5]
