Sydney Marow Eardley Wilmot

Rear-Admiral SIR Sydney Marow Eardley Wilmot, Kt., R.N., Retired (3 October, 1847 – 27 February, 1929) was an officer of the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Wilmot was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant with seniority of 1 June, 1869.[1]

Wilmot served as Assistant Director of Naval Intelligence from 1 February, 1887 to April, 1890. He was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on the Retired List dated 13 March, 1901.[2]

He was appointed Superintendent of Ordnance Stores on 25 February, 1902.[3]
