Alexander Galloway Wright

Commander Alexander Galloway Wright, C.B.E., R.N. (1 July, 1874 – 19 May, 1943) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Wright entered the navy direct from Conway on 4 July, 1900.

Wright was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 22 June, 1897.

Wright was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1910.

Wright was appointed in command of the third class protected cruiser Pactolus on 4 August, 1915.[1]

Wright was placed on the Retired List owing to non-service on 27 August, 1921.
