Lieutenant Bryan John Huthwaite Adamson, R.N. (11 October, 1851 – c. 19 September, 1887) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Adamson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 February, 1873.[Fact Check]

On 10 September 1887, Wasp, with Adamson in command, departed Singapore for Shanghai and Hong Kong and was never seen again. It is possible that a typhoon reported on the 19th was the cause of her loss. None of her 75 crew or 5 additional souls survived.[1]
