Lieutenant Edmund Henry Jellicoe (10 September, 1875 – 30 December, 1904) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Jellicoe was the much younger brother to John Rushworth Jellicoe (b. 1859).

Edmund Jellicoe was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 September, 1898.

Shortly after being appointed in command of a destroyer on the China Station, he was found in his cabin with a gunshot wound to the head.

A Court of Inquiry determined that he had killed himself while suffering from a mental debility.
