Edmund Neville Vincent Currey

Rear-Admiral Edmund Neville Vincent Currey, D.S.C., D.S.O., C.B. (1 October, 1906 – 2 May, 1998) served in the Royal Navy.

As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.

Life & Career

Currey was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 16 July, 1929.[1]

Currey was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 16 June, 1937.[2]

World War II

Currey was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1942.[3]

Currey was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1949.[4]

Currey was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 7 July, 1958.[5]
