Captain Eric George McGregor, D.S.O. (23 January, 1901 – 7 January, 1974) served in the Royal Navy. He is listed as MacGregor at The National Archives.
As with many men born c. 1899 or later, his Service Records at The National Archives do not reflect activity between 1931 and 1939 or so.
Life & Career
McGregor was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1922.[1]
McGregor was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 October, 1930.[2]
McGregor was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1936.[3]
World War II
McGregor was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1943.[4]
He was placed on the Retired List on 11 March, 1953.[5]
