Captain (retired) Eustace Ruffel Drake Long, C.B.E., R.N. (3 August, 1883 – 30 June, 1941) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of Reverend D. Long was born in Beachampton Rectory.[1]
Long was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 July, 1905.[2]
Long was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 July, 1913.[3]
Long was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1917.[4]
Long was placed on the Retired List on 5 February, 1923.[5]
Long was promoted to the rank of Captain on 2 August, 1924 or 1934.[6]
