H.M.S. Dahlia was one of twenty-four Acacia Class sweeping sloops completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

In 1925, she was functioning as a temporary R.N.V.R. drill ship at Newport.[6]

Commissioned 28 October, 1926 for service in the Mediterranean.[7]

She re-commissioned at Malta on 3 February, 1931.[8]
