Lieutenant James Jenkins, R.N., Retired (27 June, 1872 – 28 January, 1936) served in the Royal Navy.
There was an earlier Medical Officer and winner of the Gilbert Blane Medal named James Jenkins.
Life & Career
Jenkins was promoted to the rank of acting Boatswain on 1 March, 1903.
Jenkins was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 058 on 5 March, 1912.[1]
Jenkins was promoted to the rank of Chief Boatswain on 1 March, 1918.
Jenkins was retired on account of age at the rank of Lieutenant on 12 August, 1922.
