Admiral (retired) SIR Llewellyn Vaughan Morgan, M.V.O., K.B.E., C.B., D.S.C., R.N. (20 March, 1891 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Morgan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 September, 1913.
Morgan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 September, 1921.
Morgan was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1926.
Morgan was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1933.
World War II
Morgan was appointed in command of the battleship Revenge in July, 1941.
Morgan was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 12 January, 1943.
Morgan was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 6 May, 1946. He was placed on the Retired List on 23 September, 1949 and advanced to the rank of Admiral (retired) on 1 May, 1950.
