Commander Longuet Macdonald Darbyshire, R.N., Retired (20 May, 1879 – 9 December, 1948) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career
The son of the merchant Frederick Darbyshire, Longuet was appointed to the second class battleship Barfleur in the Mediterranean upon passing out of Britannia in August, 1895.
Darbyshire was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1901.[1]
Darbyshire was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 October, 1909.
Post-War
Darbyshire was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Commander on 18 September, 1920.
