Lieutenant-Commander Richard Chase Turner, (12 January, 1884 – 20 September, 1914) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Turner was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1905.

Turner was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 31 December, 1913.

Turner was appointed to the seaplane carrier H.M.S. Pegasus as first and gunnery officer on 11 March 1913. He died of wounds sustained when she was sunk by the German light cruiser S.M.S. Königsberg off Zanzibar.
