Wilfred Alfred Whitaker

Lieutenant-Commander Wilfred Alfred Whitaker, (9 January, 1890 – ) served in the Royal Navy, initially in the warrant ranks. He generally received glowing evaluations.

Life & Career

Whitaker was granted the acting rank of Gunner on 21 June, 1915.[1]

Whitaker was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 August, 1918. This was adjusted to 1 February, 1918.[2]

Whitaker was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 February, 1926.[3]
