Commander (retired) William Geoffrey Barnard Hartley, (9 December, 1895 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of Frank O. Hartley, Esq., B.A., J.C.D., a barrister at law.
Hartley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 December, 1916.[1]
Hartley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 December, 1924.[2]
Hartley was placed on the Retired List at his own request upon his relief on 13 November, 1931.[3]
Hartley was promoted to the rank of Commander on 9 December, 1935.[4]
World War II
Reverted to the Retired List on 1 July, 1949.
