Commander William Malcolm Martyn Robinson, R.N. (20 June, 1885 – 21 June, 1928) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Barbados, the son of the former governor of Hong Kong, Sir W. Robinson, G.C.M.G..
Robinson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 January, 1905.
On 14 December 1910, he married Violet Margaret Elizabeth Mortimer.
Robinson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 January, 1913.
Robinson was promoted to the rank of Commander on 39 June, 1917.
Robinson was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 1 January, 1923 and qualified for a step in rank upon reaching age 45. He died before that occurred, on 21 June, 1928 at 3:50am, as reported by his widow.
