Alexander Hugh Gye ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Gye was appointed in command of the destroyer Teviot on 24 August, 1912.[1]
On 17 June, 1914, Gye was appointed in command of the destroyer Lapwing,[2] remaining in command of the ship when she fought as part of the First Destroyer Flotilla at the Battle of Jutland.[3]
