Captain Harold Ernest Sulivan, D.S.O., (15 June, 1876 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Sulivan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1898.[1]

Sulivan was appointed in command of the destroyer Dee on 27 October, 1904.[2]

Sulivan was promoted to the rank of Commander on 22 June, 1911.[3]

Sulivan was appointed in command of the destroyer Martin on 2 January, 1913.[4]

Great War

He commanded the destroyer Kempenfelt at the Battle of Jutland, where she was a leader in the Eleventh Destroyer Flotilla.[5]

Sulivan was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1917.[6]

On 1 July, 1918, Sulivan was appointed in command of the depot ship Woolwich.[7]

Post-War

Sulivan was appointed in command of the light cruiser Curlew in June, 1921.
