Captain (retired) Harold Francis Beckham Handley (19 July, 1887 – 9 January, 1954) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Handley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 June, 1909.
Handley was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 035 in October, 1912.[1]
On 13 August, 1914, he was appointed in command of the destroyer Virago.[2]
Handley was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 June, 1917.
In 1918, Handley was appointed in command of the gunboat Gnat.[3]
Handley was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1922.
Handley was placed on the Retired List with the rank of Captain on 25 August, 1933.
