Lieutenant-Commander (emergency) John Francis Bowyer (11 January, 1893 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of Lieutenant Colonel N. J. Bowyer, late of the Royal Engineers.
Acting Sub-Lieutenant on 15 September, 1912.[1]
Bowyer was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 January, 1915.
Bowyer was appointed in command of the destroyer Nonsuch on 14 June, 1918.[2]
Bowyer was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 January, 1923.
