Commander John Prescott Burton, R.N., Retired (26 July, 1890 – 22 May, 1954) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Burton was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 April, 1911.
Burton was appointed Lieutenant in Command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 27 on 29 July, 1914.[1]
Post-War
Burton was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 April, 1919.
Burton was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Commander on 4 August, 1933.
