Lieutenant-Commander Rupert Clare Garsia, R.N. (9 October, 1887 – ) served in the Royal Navy. He later became a Commander in the Royal Australian Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Christchurch, New Zealand the son of Captain C. Garsia.
Garsia was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1910.
Transferred to Emergency List on 15 January, 1914. On 25 September, 1914, a letter from the Navy officer, Melbourne stated that Garsia had entered service with the Royal Australian Navy for the war.
