H.M.S. Westcott was one of twenty-one "W" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1917-18.
Service
Westcott was commissioned on 2 April, 1918.[8]
She was re-commissioned at Port Edgar on 27 September, 1923 to serve with the Sixth Destroyer Flotilla as part of the Atlantic Fleet.[9]
Re-commissioned at Devonport on 2 May, 1926 for service with the Sixth Destroyer Flotilla as part of the Atlantic Fleet.[10]
