Captain Frederic Walter Bennett (26 April, 1887 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Bennett was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant with seniority of 30 October, 1907.[1]
Bennett was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander with seniority of 30 October, 1915.[2]
Bennett served as Shannon's gunnery officer at the Battle of Jutland, and was recommended for having withheld his fire, as he could see very little to shoot at.[3]
He would later serve as gunnery officer in H.M.S. Renown.
Bennett was promoted to the rank of Commander with seniority of 31 December, 1918.[4]
