H.M.S. Daring was one of fourteen "C" and "D" Class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Daring was commissioned at Chatham on 1 December, 1932 for service with the First Destroyer Flotilla in the Mediterranean.[4]

Daring re-commissioned on 11 December, 1935 for service with the Eighth Destroyer Flotilla on the China Station.[5]
