H.M.S. Sandwich was one of two Bridgewater Class sloops completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Commissioned at Newcastle-on-Tyne on 22 March, 1929.[5]
She was commissioned at Hong Kong on 19 October, 1931 for service on the China Station.[6]
She was re-commissioned at Hong Kong on 2 April, 1934 for service on the China Station.[7]
She was commissioned at Hong Kong on 14 October, 1936 for service on the China Station.[8]
