Lieutenant Douglas Carteret Sealy, D.S.C.* (23 November, 1891 – 23 March, 1922) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
The son of a civil engineer.
Sealy was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 April, 1914.
Sealy died after the war while in command of H 42 when she was rammed while submerged near Gibraltar by the "V" Class destroyer H.M.S. Versatile on 23 March, 1922. There were no survivors from the submarine.
