H.M.S. Pandora was S. S. Seti, purchased on 11 November, 1914 to serve as a depot ship in the Royal Navy. She was renamed H.M.S. Dolphin in 1924.
Note: There was also a cruiser named Pandora launched in 1900.
Service
Pandora served submarines in Harwich from the Eighth Submarine Flotilla and Ninth Submarine Flotilla from 1915 to 1918.[5]
She recommissioned on 3 January, 1921.[6]
She took the name and duties of H.M.S. Dolphin as parent ship to the submarines at Fort Blockhouse on 15 October, 1924.[7]

Dates of appointment given.
- Commander Fitzroy H. D. Byron, 24 May, 1919[8] – 10 August, 1919[9] (and for duty with submarines)
