Captain Cyril George Bucknill Coltart, C.V.O., R.N. (9 May, 1889 – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career

Coltart was once arrested by Bruce Fraser for stealing Robert Keith Arbuthnot's barge to return from a dance held ashore.[1]
Captain Kerr wrote in January, 1907 that Coltart, then in Drake, was "v. sharp & intelligent. Will turn out very well unless his sharp wits get him into trouble."

Coltart was appointed in command of the submarine L 20 on 17 October, 1918.[3]
Post-War
Coltart was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 31 December, 1919.
On 10 January, 1924, K 12 collided with K 2 as they departed Portland. Both were considerably damaged, K 2 having her bows smashed and K 12 with damage 20 feet from the bow on the port side.[4]
Coltart was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1925.
