U.S.S. S-30 was one of fifty-one "S" Class submarines completed for the U.S. Navy.

Construction

S-30, like the destroyer Rizal, was built at the expense of the Philippine Government.[3]

Service

S-30 was commissioned on 29 October, 1920 under the command of Lieutenant Commander Stuart E. Bray.
