Captain Frederick Perceval Trench (27 March, 1849 – 10 May, 1895) was an officer of the Royal Navy. At least one Service Record spells his middle name "Percival".

Life & Career

Trench was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 23 September, 1873.[1]

Trench was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1885.[2]

Trench was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1891.[3]

He commissioned the new first class protected cruiser Royal Arthur in March, 1893. He would die of gastritis while in this appointment.[4]
