H.M.S. Locust was one of twenty-four "B" class destroyers built for the Royal Navy — a "30 knotter".

Service

In mid-1913, she was with Seventh Destroyer Flotilla, a patrol flotilla.[8]

By May 1919, Locust was among 33 obsolete ships awaiting sale.[9]
